Your hunting experience with us usually begins with a short trip into
our base camp by truck. Then if you are continuing on to our next camp you will be on
horseback or in a horse drawn wagon. Some of Our camps are located in areas either with
government restricted access by motorized vehicles, or terrain limitations (no access
other than by horse or foot).
White Swan Lake Territory covers over 400 square miles with
several lakes, numerous rivers, and two mountain ranges. Some of the area is accessible
by vehicle, much is still accessible only by foot or horse. The end result is a wide range
in the hunting experiences we can offer, from horse and vehicle, to extreme packing.
When your hunting is done, or for a short respite, you can
venture to the hot springs, or to one of many fishing holes. If you are an avid angler, be
sure to bring gear and a fishing rod. You will be casting for Rainbow trout (up
to 10
lbs+), Dolly Varden, Cutthroat and others.
Our main camps offer many modern conveniences, without taking
away from the natural setting. Camp One (White River Camp) has running hot water,
shower, modern accommodations and other features welcome to the travelled hunter.
